Client
Norton Fluid Power – a company specializing in hydraulic and pneumatic solutions for industrial applications. They provide components and hydraulic systems used in laboratories, concrete block manufacturing plants, and material strength testing facilities.
Project Scope
The project consists of two interconnected modules:
PLC Module – responsible for controlling hydraulic units and reading analog values from sensors (force, pressure, deformation) during concrete block testing.
Desktop Application – communicates with the PLC module using the ADS protocol, allows users to control the hydraulic unit, monitor real-time measurement data, and export all test results to a CSV file after each test.
The solution was designed to provide automated, precise, and repeatable testing procedures, reducing human errors and streamlining data collection.
